In our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) high level medical care is provided to children who have underlying diseases and need multidisciplinary approach due to multi-organ disorder/failure. In addition to medical interventions, many surgical procedures and treatments are also performed to both diagnose and treat our patients. PICU services include respiratory support (oxygen support, basic mechanical ventilation and advanced mechanical ventilation), cardiorespiratory monitorization, X-ray imaging, ultrasonography, echocardiography, EEG monitoring, physical therapy and rehabilitation, neurological care and pre and post-operative care of children.
